Our new restaurant, named Starbeam Restaurant, opened on the 28th of October, 2009, in Surin, Thailand. It features a full Thai menu, and an international menu that includes freshly made Italian pizza with a full range of traditional and nontraditional toppings, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, Aussie burgers, submarine sandwiches, Philly cheese steak subs, fish & chips with homemade onion rings and tartar sauce, roast beef sandwiches, nachos supreme, tortilla chips & salsa, quesadillas, breakfast burritos, and many other delicious international dishes. We serve full western breakfasts of eggs any style, omelets, your choice of ham or bacon or sausage, with home fries and toast. We also have pancakes, French Toast (with Log Cabin Maple Strup), waffles, coffee and tea, orange juice, and other breakfast items for your enjoyment. In addition we serve a full western and English breakfast all day.
Our menu also includes dinner dishes such as Boston style meatloaf with gravy, baked potato with sour cream, and vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, broccoli, etc.), Starbeam's breast of chicken, Maria's spaghetti with meatballs, and many other dishes. A full western dinner and lunch menu is offered as well as delicious Thai dishes at reasonable prices.
A full bar service with mixed drinks, cocktails, beers and wines is available throughout the day and evenings.
Upstairs features a 40 inch flat screen TV for televised sporting events, music, comedy, movies, an 'Open Mic' live music jam on Friday evenings where all are welcome to join in and play or sing a song, and an additional 30 seat dining area.
Starbeam Restaurant is fully enclosed and air conditioned downstairs and upstairs for your dining comfort. We offer free Wi-Fi service for our customers, an English language book exchange, daily Bangkok Post newspaper, a DVD lending library, and a function room for parties and private gatherings. There is plenty of parking out front of our restaurant, and tables and comfortable chairs out front on the covered sidewalk area for those who prefer to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and views over a drink and their meal.
